Overview

The P6 Scheduling app provides the ability to import schedule information from P6 exports (XER, XML) so that the Schedule and Tasks can be leveraged throughout your Kahua instance with additional extensions.

The P6 Scheduling application allows for the import and revisioning of P6 XER- or XML-formatted exports in Kahua. The app leverages Runding’s rQueue integration layer to extract all relevant Schedule and Task information as Kahua data that can be used, with custom app extensions, throughout Kahua. In addition, the data is made available in the data store for reporting.

• Schedules allow for revisioning, allowing your internal team to track each revision of a Project schedule
• Allows your subcontractors to submit schedules and subsequent revisions for tracking progress
• Maintains consistent Schedule Task reference information, allowing Schedule Tasks to be leveraged on Contracts or RFIs and receive updates as new Schedule revisions are submitted
• Extract important Schedule Task information like
• Work Breakdown
• Estimated, Actual, Remaining, Early, and Late Start/End Dates
• Labor Units
• Floats
• Supports standard XER and XML P6 exports to simplify importing, tracking, and sharing of Schedule files
• Allows the Schedulers to build schedules that can be easily imported and leveraged in Kahua
• Provides two separate areas: Schedules and Tasks, that allow Tasks from multiple Schedules to be searched for side-by-side
• Adding this application to your environment only provides the ability to import Schedule and Task information and does not add them to any other areas of Kahua. Additional extensions can be added to expose Schedule and Task information throughout Kahua.
